25 FISH

I was given a list of words. This Included the words Apple, Insect, Fish,Expose and Hidden
with one of these word. I had to come out with 25 Ideas for it.
I picked the word Fish and started with a brainstorm. to come out with the best Ideas.
From the brain storm i got ideas like a bed underwater with a body bag on it, this was from the phrase "sleep with the fish" from many gangster films. i also got the idea of a mermaid but with the a humans legs and a fish head. this then became legs and a fin. I was also looked into the idea of cats and fish. using the idea of the fish scaring the cat instead of the cat scaring

the fish. The idea that i developed was to compare fish to people. Using their personalty , jobs and appearances. To take this further done some sketches of each of them Here is some examples of what i decided to use Red bellied Piranha to into different types of fish and gathering several Gangster, Lion fish to a punk and Angler fish to a miner..
To present my idea i made 25 images of fish and then 25 ideas of people. to compare them to fish. I then stuck the images of the people and by using fasten pins i placed the images of the fish. then let image rotate and the image behind to be revealed.
I was pleased with my final idea but if i timed the project well enough i would also put colour into the images to help them stand out.

Babyshambles and The View

I travel all the way back home to see this gig at Glasgow's SECC . I feared the worst with Pete Docherty reputation in the press and story of him being so wasted that cant remember his lyrics. This was not the case. Unfortunately we were to late to see Joe Lean and the Jing, jong, jang, A Exciting new to hit the scene. The next band was Dundee's The View who got the really got the crowds excited with a outstanding performance of songs such as Skag Trendy , Wasted little DJ , Same Jeans. Then it was time for the main act. with a line up of new songs from there second album "Shotters Nation" and such classic as " killamangiro" and "The Blinding" with a brilliant Babyshambles performances kept the the crowds going mental. pleasing many fan to see in sober. this has been one of my favorite gigs I've been to. wait over 6 months with the tickets. was well worth the wait.
